Charlie is approximately 2 years old and 68 pounds of love. He came to Dood Ranch Rescue malnourished, matted, and in need of extensive care. With proper nutrition, veterinary care, and plenty of love, he has gained about 20 pounds and made an incredible transformation.

Charlie is a sweet, loyal “Velcro dog” who loves being close to his person and happily snuggling on the couch. He is wonderful with children and other dogs; his compatibility with cats is unknown. A home where someone is around often would be ideal as he continues working on his indoor manners.

Charlie will need a securely fenced yard, a consistent routine, and a family committed to giving him the love and security he deserves. He is heartworm positive, and Dood Ranch Rescue will cover his treatment.
